Manchester United‘s trademark number is 7, and its history is what makes the club different from others. Wearing this number isn’t just a responsibility, it’s an honour, a symbol of trust in representing the club.
After George Best, Sir Alex Ferguson took responsibility for selecting worthy players. From Eric Cantona to Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary Scot chose generational talent to represent the iconic number.
However, after 2013, players representing the number have not hit the mark. It’s this rare connection between a number and the player who embodies it that makes it a Theatre of Dreams.
Here is Read Man Utd‘s list of players who made this historical story continue from the 1960s to 2020.
