Pre-season continues for Manchester United after a mixed start, bouncing back from a 1-0 defeat to Wrexham with an emphatic 5-0 win over Rosenborg. Michael Carrick’s men have traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, to face La Liga giants Atlético Madrid in what is widely considered the club’s sternest pre-season test before the Premier League campaign kicks off later this month.
The traveling squad sees the return of Altay Bayindir and Amad following their post-World Cup breaks. Fans might also get a glimpse of highly-rated 15-year-old prospect JJ Gabriel, who has been included in the 23-man squad.
