Man Utd predicted XI vs Everton, Mainoo set to retain place

Manchester United could name an unchanged starting XI when they travel to Everton on Sunday, with Michael Carrick likely to stick with the side that produced a much-improved display against Ipswich Town.

Senne Lammens should remain in goal, while Diogo Dalot is expected to keep his place at right-back. Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez are the likely centre-back pairing, with Luke Shaw continuing at left-back.

In midfield, Kobbie Mainoo looks set to keep his spot after an impressive return to the starting XI against Ipswich. He should line up alongside Youri Tielemans, who will be looking to build on a better showing after his difficult outing against Hull City.

There could also be continuity further forward. Bryan Mbeumo is expected to start on the right as Amad continues to be sidelined with an injury. Marcus Rashford is expected to start on the opposite flank.

Man Utd hoping for another Bruno Fernandes impact

Bruno Fernandes will once again be the main attacking midfielder. The United captain, who also won the recent PFA Player of the Year award, scored a hat-trick in the 5-2 win over Ipswich and will be hoping to have another major influence against Everton.

Matheus Cunha should lead the line once again. Benjamin Sesko remains another option for Carrick, but Cunha’s display in the previous game should see him retain his place. Also, after coming back from injury, Sesko has been limited to appearances from the bench. The same arrangement is expected against Everton as well.

Man Utd predicted XI:

Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Mainoo, Tielemans; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Rashford; Cunha.
