Manchester United have received encouragement over a possible Victor Osimhen Man Utd transfer after sources close to the striker revealed his long-term ambition.
The Galatasaray forward reportedly remains determined to play in the Premier League despite settling successfully in Turkey.
TEAMtalk reports that Osimhen’s representatives continue to explore opportunities which could eventually take him to England.
The 27-year-old wants to compete for major trophies and test himself in one of Europe’s leading domestic leagues. United retain an interest as Michael Carrick searches for greater experience and depth in attack.
However, Galatasaray have no intention of approving a sale this summer. The Turkish champions consider Osimhen central to their domestic and Champions League plans after signing him permanently from Napoli for €75million last year.

Osimhen’s Premier League ambition keeps United in the conversation, but completing a deal would require an enormous financial commitment.
Galatasaray reportedly value their leading scorer at around £130million and have considered handing him the captaincy. His contract runs until 2029, leaving the club under no pressure to negotiate.
United may need another centre-forward if Joshua Zirkzee returns to Serie A. Juventus, Roma and Como have been linked with the Netherlands international, although any departure could depend on Benjamin Sesko’s recovery.
ReadManUtd recently reported that Sesko has returned to grass-based training, but he has not yet resumed unrestricted sessions with Carrick’s squad.
Osimhen would provide proven goalscoring quality, physical power and extensive Champions League experience. He recorded 22 goals and eight assists across all competitions last season.
There is no indication that United have submitted an offer or opened advanced negotiations. Galatasaray’s position makes a summer agreement unlikely unless Osimhen actively pushes to leave.
