Manchester United are considering a bid for Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams as Michael Carrick continues his midfield rebuild.
United have already spent a combined £85million on Santos and Tielemans. However, the club remain interested in adding another central midfielder before the transfer window closes.
talkSPORT reports that Adams is among the names under consideration at Old Trafford. Bournemouth sources have dismissed suggestions that the USA international could be available for only £35million.
The 27-year-old is still regarded as a more affordable option than Real Madrid pair Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga. United have also shortlisted Roma midfielder Manu Koné and Fulham’s Sander Berge.

Adams offers Premier League experience and the defensive qualities required to protect Carrick’s back four.
The former Leeds United player is known for covering large areas, pressing opponents and competing aggressively for possession. His performances for the United States at the World Cup have also increased interest in his future.
However, Adams does not appear to be United’s leading midfield target. ReadManUtd reported that Fabrizio Romano identified Koné as the current priority.
United have held concrete conversations with the France international’s representatives, although no bid or club-to-club negotiations have started. Baleba and Danilo have also been offered to United, but neither is currently being prioritised.
Adams could become more prominent if Roma demand too much for Koné. Bournemouth’s refusal to consider a cut-price sale could still make negotiations difficult.
The Tyler Adams to Man Utd link remains at an exploratory stage. United are considering an offer, but they have not yet submitted a formal bid to Bournemouth.
